WebDrive is a Windows utility that lets you FTP or SFTP files in a truly unique way: It lets you create a drive letter, like K:, to your FTP site.
Creating a drip mapping with WebDrive opens up a new world for all your existing applications: For example, in Microsoft Excel you can now save files to your K: drive as if it were a local drive, but it is actually a remote FTP file on the internet.
WebDrive web-enables any Windows application that can write to the file system!
Sharing Files
File sharing refers to the providing and receiving of digital files over a network, usually following the peer-to-peer (P2P) model, where the files are stored on and served by personal computers of the users.
Peer-to-peer file sharing (P2P) is distinct from file trading in that downloading files from a P2P network does not require uploading, although some networks either provide incentives for uploading such as credits or force the sharing of files being currently downloaded.
